Lauren Collins YSWG Assistant to the Director lcollins@lsparts.org; 706.882.9909

Lauren Collins has been a part of the LaGrange arts community since 2018 when she moved here as a music education major and history minor at LaGrange College.  Upon completion of her degree in May of 2022, Lauren accepted a position at Rosemont and Hillcrest Elementary Schools where she currently teaches K-5th grade general music and 4th and 5th grade chorus.  Lauren’s primary goal as an educator is to inspire students to make music, be creative, enjoy learning, and work hard through sharing her passion for all things music and musical theater.  

During her time in LaGrange, Lauren has student-taught in various schools across Troup County K-12, was a research and administrative assistant to the LaGrange College music department, performs with the Choral Society of West Georgia, and serves as a church musician.  Some of Lauren’s most notable performances have been in Carnegie Hall, Austria, Ireland and Northern Ireland, Boston, Los Angeles, and Orlando.  Lauren loves working with students of all ages in various capacities and is excited to work with the Young Singers of West Georgia as the Assistant to the Director!
